45 Creative Art Websites For Kids

The blog Making Teachers Nerdy has posted a great list of 45 websites for kids where they can create all kinds of artwork online.

You will find every kind of general drawing tool here, from basic paint tools to advanced Photoshop alternatives, as well as sites for creating more unusual artwork such as mosaics, caleidoscope images, portraits, word art or abstract art.

The list is labeled by grade level (from kindergarten up to 12th grade), so that you can easily find sites appropriate for your children's age.

Another great arts site for kids is www.artsology.com - it has free arts games, print-out coloring pages and mazes, and a gallery where kids can submit their art to be shown - it's a lot of fun.
